Marcus Bebee has been intrigued by the paranormal since childhood. His experiences have only fueled his desire to find out what lies beyond what we already know. As an accomplished professional dancer, he enjoys guiding his partners on the dance floor, but when the opportunity arises, he likes to guide in a different way; investigating the paranormal. Teaching his son, Gabriel, to investigate and establishing Spirit Guides are some of his greatest joys. While working on getting his degree in metaphysics is an important goal for him, seeking to find proof of the paranormal will always be his his desire. For Marcus, the hunt continues…
Paul Fugatt, a Sulphur LA native, grew up in the country, hunting and fishing and learning how to work the land. His interest in the paranormal stems from his friend Marcus and childhood experiences. While being the skeptic of the group, he believes in the supernatural; still his main focus stays in finding a scientific reason behind all possible evidence found, thus keeping the team in check. The suspense of a hunt always excites him, and he hopes to see what others miss and maybe be able to prove that spirits do exist. His zest for life stems from his love for his family. As an integral part of the team, he keeps everyone focused and makes sure his duties as “Backpack Guy ” are fulfilled.
Morgan has always been interested in the supernatural. When she met Marcus and saw his passion for investigating the paranormal, she wanted to inspire him to take his interest further and so Spirit Guides was born. Since the inception of Spirit Guides, she has become Marcus’ biggest supporter. As part of the team, she helps with interviews, B-reel, and editing. While she does take part in an investigation or two, she prefers to participate in the historical aspect of the investigations during the daytime (Non-Vampire) hours.
Amanda has known Marcus for quite some time through their dancing careers. Seeing Marcus’ passion for the paranormal, she wanted to help behind the scenes to make things more streamlined for him. His persistence pushed Amanda to experience an investigation for herself at the infamous Myrtles Plantation and her experience there only drove her to dive deeper into the investigation side of things. While her biggest part in Spirit Guides is making sure things run smoothly as HR/PR, her involvement in investigations has become bigger. Amanda thrives on the experiences she has with the other side.
Roger joined the SGC in Season 4 with a background in electronics and technology, he is a huge asset to the team. His experiences as a child made him a believer of the paranormal that he now investigates. Since joining Spirit Guides he has fast become an excellent investigator and equipment developer. Having a knack for communicating with spirits from beyond the grave, Roger has no problem striking up a conversation with whomever decides to come through and say hello.
Josh joined the team in season 2. Since then, his desire to investigate has only grown stronger. He is the driving force behind locations finding their way to us. While his wife and two boys are his passion for life, his time spent investigating is priceless to him. He thrives on sharing his fear with Guestigators that come on the show and having them see exactly what the Spirit Guides go through each time they take on a new location. With so many unknowns, Josh takes great joy in collecting concrete evidence that the team can present to the viewers and show what the team’s hard work is for.
